You can delete your Maiden account and the personal data associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do it — in the app, or by email if you can no longer sign in.
Delete it in the app
- Sign in at maidenscore.co.uk.
- If you belong to a club, remove yourself from it first: open Your profile and leave the club. If you are the club’s owner, open Settings → Danger zone and delete the club (this permanently removes the club’s data too).
- Once you are no longer attached to any club, use the Delete account option to permanently remove your login and personal profile.
We require you to leave or close your clubs first so that deleting your account can never orphan a club that other people rely on.
Delete it by email
If you can’t sign in, email privacy@vitako.co.uk from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We’ll verify the request and delete your account and personal data within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your login and authentication record.
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your notification (push) subscriptions and personal settings.
- Copies in our backups age out within 30 days of the deletion.
What is kept, and why
- Cricket history — scorecards, results and match records belong to the club, not to an individual account, so they are retained for the lifetime of the club. Where a player profile was linked to your account, it is unlinked from you; the historical scoring data itself remains with the club.
- Payment records — kept for 7 years to satisfy UK financial-record requirements.
For full detail on what we collect and how we handle it, see our privacy notice. Questions about a deletion request can go to privacy@vitako.co.uk.
